Executive Summary
Brittain is a Marketing Services Company offering a very successful multichannel communications prospect engagement approach to generate high level, high value sales opportunities. With each allocated opportunity having to blend seamlessly into the internal sales and marketing functions of over 30 individual Clients, accurate data management is critical to Brittain’s service delivery.
The Challenge
As Brittain Marketing manages huge volumes of individual data sets every day, the risks and issues involved with GDPR regulations were well understood and compliance preparation was commenced early on.
However the sheer volume of data and the differing complexities involving over 30 clients was a concern and addressing each one individually was taking more time than expected. Advice was sought and Chapter Three Consulting (C3C) was recommended.
The Solution
C3C conducted an audit to understand current progress and qualify any remaining areas requiring attention, applying a templated approach to check and validate Compliance across the Company. As data was a critical component, this audit addressed all Data Protection considerations, including the GDPR Definition of Personal Data, Data Subject Rights as well as Breach Notification Requirements.
The Results
C3C provided a common consultative approach for all clients, with the right solutions and advice to address any areas of weakness and ensure Brittain Marketing were fully GDPR Compliant well before the due date.
